Help finding a nature-based or play-based preschool
We just moved to the Brier Creek area of north Raleigh this week. So far, we love it! We have a son who'll be four in October. We're looking for a suitable preschool program for him. He was in a forest school in NJ, based on the Reggio Emilia approach. We'd love something similar. But mostly we just want him somewhere where free play is valued and teachers nurture and love their students. We're looking for 3 or 4 half-days a week. Any ideas?
I'm all over Google, but I know word-of-mouth is usually the best way to find something like this. So far I've found Our Playhouse Preschool and The Kinder Garden. Any opinions on those? I'm willing to go to Cary or Durham or into downtown Raleigh.
Edit: cross posting to r/Raleigh
